About the Artist

Australian Artist + Author of Children's Books, Michelle Macnamara has been selling her work independently since 2000.

An unabashed creative, working in mediums ranging from pencil and pen to charcoal on paper, from oil paintings to digital prints + illustration. Whether a simple nude or a detailed painting, Michelle’s art is a honed practice of being totally present, each piece invites us to peer into that world and is uniquely connected to a moment in time. A perfectly, imperfect reflection of life.

Michelle is also a self-published children's Author writing in fun, entertaining rhymes that compliment her bold, colourful illustrations. Her books will keep your children hooked from start to finish!

Living, drawing and writing from her home studio in Australia, Michelle spends part of the year in creating art and teaching Yoga in India and Europe. During her quiet time, she loves to draw, practice Yoga and drink tea.
