‘Poolside II’ is an oil painting from my new series of small figurative artworks, from my series also named ‘Poolside’. Set on quiet of a spring afternoon. Bodies seeing the sun after winter and the sense of a day with nowhere else to be.
Painted from my home studio in Byron Bay, where I live with my husband and daughter. My work continues to draw on daily life, and the simplicities/complexities of the human experience.
