The Continuance

The Continuance is part of my first series of 2022. I wanted to create some strong but feminine images to represent my approach to the year ahead. As most woman do, I stand in many different roles on a daily basis. I am a wife, mother, artist, writer, yoga teacher, small-business owner, juggler and magician. Well, that last one is not strictly true but I CAN magic up a pretty delicious dinner from a fridge with nothing it it.

It’s been a pretty crazy few years for most people and i am no exception. So the approach to this year is to be strong yet malleable.

Much like the water in a river, working my way through my days, weeks and months. Calm on the surface, with a ripple here and there. Powerful underneath. Riding over, around and through all obstacles, to create smoother edges…everywhere I go. Allowing that deliberate, underlying current to take me in the right direction.
