The Wandering

The Wandering is part of Michelle’s first series of 2022, #TheJourney.

This figurative female artwork is strong but feminine, representing her approach to the year ahead. As most woman do, Michelle stands in many different roles on a daily basis. Wife, mother, artist, writer, yoga teacher, small-business owner, juggler and magician.

Well, that last one is not strictly true but she CAN magic up a pretty delicious dinner from a fridge with nothing it it.

It’s been a pretty crazy few years for most people and Michelle has been no exception. So her approach to this year is to be strong yet malleable.

Much like the water in a river, working her way through the days, weeks and months. Calm on the surface, with a ripple here and there. Powerful underneath. Riding over, around and through all obstacles, to create smoother edges…everywhere she goes. Allowing that deliberate, underlying current to take her in the right direction.
